Run the SymbolReplace.nb notebook on the notebook that you want to convert to a script file. Change the value of “nb” in SymbolReplace.nb so that it points to the notebook that you want to process. I have tested this out on this notebook. You will have to customize the initialization cells in SymbolReplace.nb based on the notation you are using.

Mathematica script file: Successfully run linear elasticity script file. To run the script file use the following commands

1. alias mathematica='/Applications/Mathematica.app/Contents/MacOS/MathKernel'
2. mathematica -script file_name.wls
